Question:  What is TMMC?

Answer:  Team Miracle Man Charity Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt (84-5051412) organization.  TMMC was founded in March 2020 and is located in Alpharetta, Georgia.  TMMC was formed by Mrs. Delilah Helms, in collaboration with 5 other mission-driven board of directors.

Question:  What is the purpose/mission of TMMC?

Answer:  The primary goal of the organization is to improve patient outcomes by increasing access to vital healthcare for Georgians in need.

 

Question:  Who does TMMC serve?

Answer:  TMMC's targeted demographic is Georgia (or Fulton County).  Although any resident of Georgia who meets the qualifications and has healthcare needs or outstanding healthcare bills, may enroll in the program. The Wellness Assistance Program (WAP) will use its resources to actively target those residing in Fulton County during the current fiscal year.  We will phase into Metro Atlanta followed by other States in the upcoming years.

Question:  What is the Wellness Assistance Program (WAP)

Answer:  Wellness Assistance Program (WAP) is a nonprofit patient assistance program established in 2020 by Team Miracle Man Charity. The chief aim of the program is to improve health outcomes by increasing access to critical healthcare for low-income, underinsured, and uninsured Georgians who cannot afford care.  

 

Question:  Who qualifies for (WAP) services?

Answer:   Residents who live in the Fulton County area, low income individuals/families, uninsured individuals/families and underinsured individual/families.

 

Question:  Does TMMC assist with healthcare costs?

Answer:  Yes, (AS FUNDING IS AVAILABLE) TMMC assist with the following:

  • Hospital bills

  • Doctors’ visits (wellness exams, co-pays, premiums, deductibles and other out-of-pocket expenses)

  • Medical relief supplies: i.e.

             Gloves

             Bandages

             Blood pressure cuffs

             Stethoscopes

             Glucose monitors

 

  • Medical equipment costs

            Wheelchairs

            Walkers

            Rollator’s

            Canes

            Bedside commodes

 

  • Medical related travel costs to and/or from a medical facility

  • Lodging expenses for medical reasons

  • Meals (example: while traveling in relation to medical reasons)

 

Question:  Does TMMC provide advocacy services?

Answer:  Yes, the WAP advocacy service attempts to assist clients with the following:

  • Negotiation to help settle issues associated with access to care

  • Negotiation to help with debt related to illness

  • Early intervention resources

  • Offer holistic spiritual and emotional support.

  • Provide specific linkages to information of healthcare programs, educational classes, and resources of medical care services. (Visit COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE SERVICE page for links to specific services and information)

Question:  What information does TMMC provide?

Answer:  We provide vital resource information of healthcare services which assist the low-income, underinsured, and uninsured individuals.  The resource information we provide is in the areas of, but not limited to, spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, nutritional and educational services.  We strongly believe in and emphasize the importance of collaboration across agencies and sectors to assist in promoting comprehensive support in over-all good health and wellness.  (Refer to the ‘Community Assistance Services’ section to view our list of resource providers.)
