About me...

-Hi! My name is Delilah Helms and I am the Founder, CEO and President of Team Miracle Man Charity, (T.M.M.C.). I also serve on the Board of Directors of T.M.M.C. and it is important to note that “people are indeed my passion”.

-I am an extremely active and very involved board member of T.M.M.C., as I believe that great team players create great leaders, and I also believe that the greatest investment into ones’ life and mission is ones’ self…

-I purposely am not mentioning my accolades, titles and accomplishments, as my contributions to society are the most important... However, I will mention that I strongly believe that God has given gifts and talents to us, so that He can use those gifts and talents through us to bless others as well as ourselves. I indeed know that (my purpose & my mission in life, are to serve) which is also my passion! It gives me great joy, to bless, to love and to serve others...

-I am married to Jeffery Leon Helms, who is the most wonderful man ever, and who is also “The Miracle Man”, and the inspiration for establishing Team Miracle Man Charity. (See The Miracle Man Tab)

-Jeffery and I have two absolutely amazing children Alisha, who is married to our amazing son-in-law Timothy, and William Michael Andrew, who is also a terrific young man. Jeffery and I have three of the most wonderful granddaughters in the world Alylah, Arissa and Alexia, I call them our Triple A-Jewels!
-I am a proud and active member of World Changers Church International.

-My enjoyment and hobbies include; reading, writing, (I am also in the process of authoring several books), event planning, interior design, traveling, eating healthy, communicating, mentoring and I thoroughly enjoy helping others…

About me...

-Kristen Acker, R.A.
-Licensed Architect
-Bachelors of Science in Architecture w/ a Minor in Construction
-My whole life, I have always been very involved in my church, clubs, and different groups that volunteer and gather items for the less fortunate. Whether it’s collecting food, donating clothes, or cleaning up a community, I have always found myself involved.
-I was asked to join T.M.M.C. in its early stages and it was definitely an offer that I couldn’t refuse. I have always done my best to help others whenever possible, but to be a board member of a non-profit was a higher level of caring for others. I was very humbled and honored that I was given the opportunity.
-I am a Georgia native, and grew up in the rural northwest part of the state. I currently live in the Alpharetta area with my husband Jonathan and our two children. Being an architect, I do a lot of design work and space planning. This allowed me to assist in creating the T.M.M.C. logo and to help with the formatting for our website.
-On a personal note, I love to paint, draw, read, sew, and bake, anything that involves creativity; and if the weather is nice, you will find me outside.

-I grew up in Pineville, KY where I attended and graduated high school. I always liked reading and searching for information; listening to someone talk about a subject that interested me, I could write 10 pages compared to others who would only have written 1 page.
-My love for research and writing is an asset in my research position in T.M.M.C.
I am honored to have a position in which I can use my talent and my skills.
-I am so thankful that T.M.M.C. has a place for me to do something that I know I will have the opportunity to help and bless others.
-Being in the nursing field also contributed to my desire to help others; just to see the smiles on the faces of my clients was so rewarding!

-I have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters and 6 wonderful grandchildren, 5 granddaughters and 1 handsome grandson that I prayed for often...

-I thoroughly enjoy reading all types of books. I like to crochet, knit and watch the news to find out what is going on in the world. I also enjoy spending time with my family, taking long rides in the car, going to places I have never been, and enjoying all the wonderful things GOD has made for us to enjoy!
